The day started with a Lock Down drill reminding us all of the challenges students face in school today.  The assembly started with Johann Christoph Arnold telling the students about his own life.  He spoke of leaving Nazi Germany and growing up in Paraguay South America in primitive school.  He kept very upbeat and Hashim continued in the same happy style yet covered some big points.  Chief Williams then told his story which also resonated with the student body.

Thank you Cornwall for providing pizza in the intermission between the 2 assemblies.

Following the assembly students and staff came to talk with the speakers about the life issues they are dealing with.  Again the message is find someone you can trust to talk to and tell them what you are going through.
