Thank you Lafayette Elementary #6 for welcoming Breaking the Cycle to your school. We appreciate the support from Undersheriff Colon, Anti Bullying Coordinator Peter Vosseler and other school administrators. May the stories you heard today from Hashim, Ann Marie and Chief inspire you to make positive choices in your lives! "It is never the wrong time to do the right thing."

Thank you guys for presenting that inspiring assembly. It really changed the way I act. Now I know not to act bad. Also now I know not to gang bang and all that bad stuff and also now I know to forgive people.

I loved the stories yesterday. I cried when you guys told your stories. At the beginning I said oh no I'm not going to change, but then at the end I ended up changing my whole world.

Thank you, Ann Marie, Charles Williams but especially Hashim Garrett because the talk I had with you really changed my life. I'm going to start making better choices and keeping my head in the books and keep getting good grades. I'm going to talk to my principal about track instead of being on the streets with older guys I'm going to be at practice or at the gym. I used to go to the YMCA but when my uncle got locked up everything changed because my dad is not in my life. I live with my mom my sister and my grandmother, so it really hit me because he was the only man in my life and he got locked up so I started going even harder at basketball and all my sports but I got kicked off the team so I had a low self esteem and I started hanging with the wrong people but yesterday changed my mind set. I will keep you updated on my sports, thank you to all the speakers.
