This is an excellent assembly. Students are quiet and attentive and moved throughout. We have been using Breaking the Cycle since 2001 and currently have them in every October for our newly entering 7th grade. Breaking the Cycle is always our top choice when planning assemblies. It is appreciated by both staff and students.

This is a seven star program! I thank everyone who participates and the speakers who tell their heartfelt stories of life and forgiveness. So glad we have kept this ongoing connection.

You guys were amazing! Thank you for visiting our school and talking to us about the things we need to know. You didn't hold back about what happened to you guys, you didn't sugar coat it. You told us the straight truth. I also like what Mr.Garret said about not being allowed to pray in schools prior to something tragic happening. A lot of people don't take these things seriously and think, "this wont happen to me", not knowing how easy it is for you to get mixed up in that kind of stuff. Again, thanks so much! I'll remember the lessons you taught us for life.

We are fortunate to host the "Breaking the Cycle Assembly" every year during October, Anti Bullying Prevention Month for our grade 7 students. This assembly touches the heart of everyone, teachers, staff, and students alike. This year, the faculty and staff commented on Ms. D'Aliso's presentation. They were reminded of how important it is to be completely present for their children and our own shared children at John W. Dodd Middle School. On the anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, every presenter spoke with heart and compelled each student to be the hope and the change he/she wishes to see in the world.

On behalf of our entire school community, I would like to express our deepest thanks for your presence, your stories, your books, and your inspiration to us all.
