Students are still talking about the assembly and what a positive impact it had on them. One student spoke with me about the last speaker and how they could relate and feel the pain as the speaker was talking about his life with a mom who was alcoholic.

You could feel the pain that the speakers went through when they all told their stories but each one overcome their circumstances and the theme of forgiveness resonated with students and faculty.

I would like to thank all speakers today for coming to my school and sharing their stories. They were all truly inspirational and touching. I loved the line, "there is only one race, the human race." There were also many other great golden lines that resonated with me. The idea of forgiveness is a great point and just as much as asking for forgiveness. Thank you all again. Absolutely touching!

First off I would like to acknowledge that your organization and the people in it are spreading a very powerful message. The speakers who were so gracious enough to share their lives with us did so with great care. Hearing their stories really added a sort of realism that was very relatable. Although many of the speakers have gone through hardships they all realized that they are capable of changing generations. I just wanted to reassure you that your message was heard and taken to heart. Not just by me but by many of my peers as well. It really strengthened my belief in forgiving people in even the most extreme of conditions. All in all thank you for taking the time to visit our school.
